2019 Events

Our Tithe Barn events range from Outdoor Gym to Theatre, so there really is something for everyone. Come along and support your local charity and not-for profit volunteer group committed to saving the Tithe Barn for everyone to enjoy.

Saturday 23 February
Outdoor Gym
at the Tithe Barn
10am – 1pm
Get active and involved and help us tidy the hedge and meadow strip to the Tithe Barn. The session will be led by our very own Landscape Architect and Horticulturalist.

Wednesday 1 May
Annual General Meeting
at Landbeach Village Hall
7pm – 8.30pm
Learn more about the Tithe Barn project, meet the Tithe Barn Trust volunteer team, and ask any questions.

Thursday 20th June
Romeo & Juliet – Theatre
at the Tithe Barn
6pm-7pm
Shakespeare’s tragic love story ‘Romeo & Juliet’ is coming to the Tithe Barn for your enjoyment. A reduced Shakespeare play performed by the Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts.

Saturday 22 & Sunday 23 June
Fen Edge Festival Open days
at the Tithe Barn
1pm – 5pm
As part of the Fen Edge Festival, this historic Tithe Barn will be opening its doors for you to enjoy. Try your hand at traditional style games or dress up. Plus rare breed goats will be making a guest appearance.

Join Dr Adam Menuge, from the University of Cambridge, as he gives an account of the Landbeach Tithe Barn and its development, in the wider context of vernacular farm buildings.

Saturday 14 September
Heritage Open Day
at the Tithe Barn
1pm – 5pm
See this unique medieval timber frame Grade II listed Tithe Barn for yourself. Find out more about the Tithe Barn project and how through ‘People power’ volunteers are coming together to save this historic building for everyone.

Saturday 9 November
Outdoor Gym

Carols
at the Tithe Barn

Start your festive season with Carol singing and enjoy mulled wine or fruit juice and mince pies. Wrap up well.
